Anas Aremeyaw Anas has been in Ghanaian media since 1999 across radio, television and print. He made the move into investigative journalism in 2001 with The Crusading Guide and has since become a member of the Investigative Journalists' Forum, in Johannesburg. He has won various international and domestic awards for his in-depth investigative reporting and features on human trafficking and is currently Ghana's Journalist of the Year. His awards include Hero Award 2008, Trafficking in Persons Award (TIP) Administered by the US Department Of State; Kurt Schork Award for International Journalism, 2008 and Ghana's Best Investigative Journalist Award 2005 and 2006.
